(Lond.) 1898, M.R.C.P. 1903, M.B. (1st class Honours in Medicine, Lond.) 1900; M. D. (qual. for Gold Medal, Lond.) 1902; M. D. (Florence) 1908; sometime Civil Surgeon, Egyptian Army; in practice at Florence, Italy; Lieut. R.A.M.C. Sept. 12, 1914; Capt. Sept. 12, 1915; acting Lieut.-Col. April 19, 1918; attached to 25th Batt. Royal Fusiliers in March 1915, and went out to join the East African Expeditionary Force the following month; O.B.E. June 3, 1919; Medical Officer to the School 1923-48; m. 1st June 24, 1905, Mary Elizabeth, third daughter of Major-Gen. Charles Fowler, R.E., of Great Marlow, Bucks; 2nd Aug. 24, 1935, Aileen Dora, daughter of David Kenning; d. July 1965.
