Canon, Christ Church, Oxford, 1877; Busby Trustee from 18 May 1876; a regular contributor of epigrams at Election Dinner, and wrote a number of prologues and epilogues for the Latin Play; m. 8 Aug 1839 Frances Sophia, eldest dau. of Rev. Robert Edward Hughes, Rector of Shenington, Oxfordshire; d. 18 Dec 1888.
