Sept. 28, 1911; left April 1916; an asst. master at Temple Grove School, Eastbourne; Sub-Lieut. R. N. V. R. Dec. 16, 1916; Observer Sub-Lieut. R. N. March 16, 1917; left England for naval air service in Italy in June 1917; drowned in the Mediterranean while on active service patrol Jan. 7, 1918; unm.
