English College, Rome 1 Nov 1599; ordained Roman Catholic priest 28 Dec 1603; sent to England 8 May 1604; entered Society of Jesus 1605, professed 1622; arrested in England under pseudonym of Hammond and banished 1607; returned to England and again banished 1612; returned to England once more; d. 27 Jul 1650.
