Cambridge (with Triplett) 1873, adm. pens. 19 Jan 1874, scholar 1877 [check], matr. Mich. 1874; 23rd Wrangler 1878; BA 1878; MA 1882; Assistant Master, Tonbridge Sch. 1879; articled to solicitors, London 1880; adm. solicitor; went out to Queensland, Australia; managing clerk to Hart and Flower, Brisbane, for some twelve years; returned to England and lived at Cobham, Surrey; m. 15 Aug 1892 Ellen Augusta, third dau. of Ferdinand Antonio Echalaz, Wimbledon, Surrey; d. 6 May 1932.
