Sir Alexander Hood (Lord Bridport); present at battle off Ushant 1 Jun 1794; Paymaster of Ordnance, Woolwich, to retirement 1821; m. 1784 Elizabeth, dau. of George Ludewig, Surveyor of Customs, Deal, Kent; d. 17 Apr 1849.
