June 1, 1904; Engineer Lieut.-Commander June 1, 1912; Engineer Commander Oct. 1, 1917; retired Nov. 24, 1922; served in the Channel and the North Sea 1914-7, and with the N. Atlantic Convoys 1917-8; was present at the Battle of Jutland; m. June 12, 1909, Maud Annie Louise, youngest daughter of Charles Albert Creasey, of Walton, Suffolk; d. April 2, 1954.
