This magazine largely took over from the House magazine 'The Grantite Review'. It was first produced in Election term 1994 with the aim of producing one or two editions a year so the 'Grantite Review' could be produced once every five years. It contains general news from the House including the names of new pupils and leavers, details of charity fundraising, a sports section and details of upcoming events within the House. It does not contain news from the 'Old Grantite Club', which was included in the 'Elizabethan' instead, but does advertise their events and occasionally includes letters from Old Grantites. The magazine was distributed within Grant's house and to Old Grantites.
This is the first edition of the 'Grantite Gazette'. It gives the names of leavers, general news within the House, details of the House concert and sporting achievements of the House.
This edition contains the usual sports and music sections, and names of new pupils as well as leavers, but also includes sections dedicated to the fifth form and the lower shell. There are also interviews with two Grant's tutors and a section on the 'Old Grantites Club'.
