Cream petersham ribbon with a green stripe through the middle, gathered at one end and finished with a bow at the other. Bow end has a set of sharp metal spikes which would be used for fastening the band onto a hat. Bow end are deliberately frayed for a decorative effect. Mid 20th century. Conserved by students at the Centre for Textile Conservation at the University of Glasgow in 2015.
Wool caps in green quartered with cream. Body of cap is made of eight triangles of alternating green and cream wool with cream button on top holding wool triangles together. Lining is a twill weave white cotton Lining - top fabricated using circular piece of cotton, sides are formed with two rectangular sewn around the circumference. Conserved by students at the Centre for Textile Conservation at the University of Glasgow in 2015.
Handsewn elasticated hat band made of green and cream striped grosgrain ribbon, with rosette of same ribbon attached.
Handsewn green polyester cummerbund(?), with elastic loops signed to either end. Made of green polyester ribbon. Damage/wear to centre.
