A set of 50 glass plate negatives showing scenes of the school, school life and the surrounding area. Stored in the original wooden box. The title "Westminster" has been written on the lid, and each end of the box is marked with a letter "K". The lid opens on a hinge, and there is a numbered list of titles pasted to the inside of the lid. Wooden dividers hold the slides upright and apart from each other.

8 copies of one medal. Front stamped with "ST PETERS COLLEGE WESTMINSTER," at the top, the School's coat of arms, with a figure next to it and says "AWARDED FOR MODERN LANGUAGES." The back is stamped with "THIS MEDAL IS GIVEN IN MEMORY OF THE VERY REV.EDMUND GOODENOUGH . HEADMASTER OF WESTMINSTER 1819-28 . AND DEAN OF WELLS . AND HIS THREE SONS FREDERICK ADDINGTON GOODENOUGH 1839 - 46 COMMODORE JAMES GRAHAM GOODENOUGH R.N. C.B. C.M.G. 1841-44 AND LIEUT. GEN. SIR WILLIAM HOWLEY GOODENOUGH K.C.B. 1845-49."

Collection of Glass Plate Negatives depicting school life and buildings in the early 20th Century. They were originally stored in 8 boxes, and the original box numbers are recorded, because the titles are drawn from the captions on those original boxes. The captions were written on paper that was pasted over the top of existing labels that were on the re-used boxes. The earlier labels refer to photographs taken in 1912-33; one later reference to "Westminster School. (May 1940) Best neg […]"; reference to Mrs McNeilly (College Matron 1904-21), which means that the captions post-date 1940.
