Walton, Edward Arthur, 1860-1922Half length, wearing a black coat and skull cap Inscribed l.r.: Marcus Gheeraerts pinxit, and inscribed u.l. with the identity of the sitter and his coat of arms. Extensively inscribed in Latin on a tablet beneath.
Half-length portrait of Dolben, whose head is inclined to the right; he wears a brown coat, green waistcoat and a white shirt and cravat, the background is a shade of blue.
Northcote, James, 1746-1831Half-length oval portrait; Ellis is inclined slightly to the right of the picture; he wears a mortarboard, academic collar and black gown. Glazed.
Humphrey, Ozias, 1742-1810Reverend William Freind (1714-66) as a scholar aged 13, in a carved wooden frame; he is standing in a library wearing a scholar's gown. Freind had four children, the youngest of whom John, succeeded to the estates of his maternal uncle, Richard Robinson, Bishop of Armagh, Baron Rokeby, to become Sir John Robinson.
