The House Ledger was kept by the Head of Rigaud's House and passed on successive Heads of Houses. It contains details of events which the Heads thought were interesting or noteworthy of recording. This ledger is a continuation of the Head of House's log begun in December 1940, (although this earlier ledger is not present in the archive). It describes details of events within Rigaud's House, as well as notes about the boys' attributes and contains some inserts including House Lists.

There is an insert with deatils of Rigaud's House football and cricket teams between the years 1880-1927.
Lists of the boys who were at Rigaud's House between Play Term 1947 - Play Term 1981. The lists give the names of pupils and divided them into those who boarded and those who were day pupils. Some lists give details of bed studies.

Additionally it includes information about races and events, such as who won and the awards given. There are also general summaries of the Athletics seasons throughout the file.
This ledger was compiled to provide successive Heads of House Water with useful tips to benefit them in their role. It starts in 1947, but has notes copied into the first nine pages from a previous ledger. Contained within the volume are various details about the capabilities of the boys, descriptions of events and regattas, and inserts of newspaper cuttings, including cuttings from 'The Rigaudite Review'.
