        Kann, Percy Walter Gladstone, son of John Baptist Joseph Kann, of Chertsey, Surrey, by Louise, daughter of Leopold Seligmann, of Paris; b. Sept. 5, 1894; adm. Sept. 26, 1907 (A); left July 1913; Pembroke Coll. Camb. 1913; joined the 18th Batt. Royal Fusiliers at the out­ break of Great War I; obtained a commission in the 3rd Batt. of the East Kent Regt. Nov. 4, 1915, and was subsequently seconded for duty with the Heavy Machine Gun Corps; served in France; a member of the London Stock Exchange 1925; Lieut. East Kent Regt. June 26, 1940; transferred to R. A. S. C. Aug. 27, 1941; Capt.; m. 1st June 22, 1929, Florence Broad­hurst, of Mount Perry, Queensland, Australia; 2nd Oct. 8, 1936, Lilian, daughter of Alfred Ernest Dumont, of London; d. Jan. 24, 1951.
