Middle Temple 21 Feb 1737/8; migrated to Inner Temple 29 Jan1741/2, called to bar 18 Jun 1743; chambers there 5 Feb 1741/2 – 8 May 1753, withdrew from membership Nov 1781; MP Lichfield 1761 – 1 Feb 1762; of Wychnor, Staffs.; d. unm. 22 Nov 1799.
