        LLOYD, WILLIAM FORSTER, son of Rev. Thomas Lloyd, Rector of Aston-sub-Edge, Gloucs., and Elizabeth ---; bapt. Bradenham, Bucks. 21 Aug 1794 (IGI); adm. Christmas 1806; KS (aged 12) 1807; Capt. of the School 1811; elected head to Christ Church, Oxford 1812, matr. 9 May 1812, Westminster Student, Mathematical Lecturer; 1st cl. Mathematics and 2nd cl. Classics 1815; BA 1815; MA 1818; ordained; Drummond Professor of Political Economy, Oxford Univ. 1832-7; subsequently resident at Prestwood, Missenden, Bucks.; FRS 10 Apr 1834; author Lectures on Population, Value, Poor Laws and Rent, 1837; d. 2 Jun 1852.
