A George III silver challenge cup and cover, with applied leaf decoration on lower part and lid, with elephant head and trunk handles, engraved with coat-of-arms and inscription in Latin with names of donors, inscribed T. Whipham Fecit, Fleet Street, oak case, repaired finial.

Inscribed 'Hoc poculum amoris ergo dederunt, Herbertus Salway, Carolus Lancelotus Shadwell, Henricus Lewis Thompson, MDCCCLXVI on the back 'Praefecto et Alumnis Collegii Sancti Petri apud Westmonasteriensis', cut-card motif around lower section, Not loaded. No cover. This piece may have been converted from a ewer at the time of presentation.

An Arts and Crafts taste cup and cover,the fluted bell shaped bowl applied with foliate borders at rim and on knop, spirally ribbed spreading base terminating in four lion supports, applied with eight cabochon chrysoprase stones on cover and base, hammered finish throughout, wood base, Loaded. Cover. Wooden plinth. Awarded 1927 - 1950. The base stamp design by Edward Spencer.

Radiating scallop rim dish base with flat-chased foliate rim, glass well cut with similar cartouches, the neck matching the base with domed cover. Makers Mark reads S.C.
