Middle Temple 16 Nov 1838, called to bar 21 Nov 1845; member Marylebone, I Zingari and West Kent Cricket Clubs; played cricket for Kent 1835, 1844; one of the committee which framed the rules for short whist at the Arlington Club 1863; d. unm. 17 Jan 1892.
