Richard Nicoll DD, Chancellor and Prebendary of Wells, Rector of Drayton, Oxfordshire, and Chaplain in Ordinary to George III, and Vere, elder dau. of Richard Wykeham, Swalcliffe, Oxfordshire; great-nephew of John Nicoll (KS 1700, qv); bapt. Bodicote, Oxfordshire 23 Sep 1768 (IGI); adm. 25 Feb 1780; in school lists 1785; probably Nicoll who played cricket for the OWW against the Old Etonians at Lord’s 13-14 May 1793; adm. Middle Temple 28 Apr 1787, called to bar 1 Jun 1793, Bencher 19 Apr 1832; d. 11 Feb 1833.
