Lent 1919; B.A. 1921; M.A. 1927; M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P. 1925; asst. pathologist, Bland Sutton Institute, Middlesex Hospital 1925-36; pathological curator of the Royal College of Surgeons Museum since 1936; R.F.A. Cadet Officer's School, Weedon, 1918-9; served in World War II with the rank of Lieut.-Col. R.A.M.C., O.C. Blood Transfusion and Surgical Research Unit B.E.F. in France Sept. 1939 -July 1940 and as advisor to the Blood Transfusion M. of H., E.M.S. later seconded to M.R.C. Blood Drying Unit, Camb., Aug. 1940-5; d. 1992.
