        RAWLINS, STEDMAN, son of Henry Rawlins, St. Kitts, West Indies, and Elizabeth Wilkes; b. 24 Aug 1782; adm. 15 Apr 1796; in school list 1797, third form list 1798; probably “Rawlings” who played cricket v. Eton at Lords 31 Jul 1800, 31 Jul 1801; Lieut., 27th Foot 27 Nov 1799; living 1804; m. 22 Aug 1803 Ann Taylor (IGI). [Note however Stedman Rawlins, eldest son of Stedman (sic) Rawlins, St. Kitts, deceased, adm. Middle Temple 29 Oct 1801; Christ Church, Oxford, matr. 22 Oct 1801, aged 17] [a Stedman Rawlins was Governor of St. Kitts in 1816] [looks as if two individuals of same name have become confused]
