This series contains material held by the school on events at Westminster Abbey which do not feature the school in any prominent fashion, although representatives from the School often attended and this is how such material came to be in the Westminster School collections.

Material generated through the School's events in or relationship with the Abbey, including annual services, weekly Abbey talks, and one-off events. Some items are also included by merit of their religious themes, such as Holy Communion orders of service, but are not specifically tied to the Abbey itself.
Westminster Abbey documents relating to the biannual Commemoration of Benefactors and the annual Election service are held in the EVE series, under their respective events.

This collection contains a variety of material relating to the School’s religious services, primarily focused on Westminster Abbey. There are orders of service from the annual School services held at the Abbey, as well as further material from Abbey events that were often attended by the School, although did not feature it in any prominent way. Finally there is a subsection for Funerals and Memorials, containing orders of service for people related to the School or the Abbey. Many, but not all, of these services were held in Westminster Abbey.

This collection contains orders of service for funerals and memorial services for Old Westminsters, former Westminster school teachers, former Head Masters, and a small number of other individuals. The majority of the services took place in Westminster Abbey, but orders of service have been included in this collection where the service happened elsewhere as the individuals have associations to Westminster School.

Withdraws recommendation of the oculist Alexander (see 2) - he is rough and brutal. On his own cataracts (including a failed operation) and other ailments - all very expensive. Again asks for JB's translation of Horace (see 3). On the sweeping away of tithes in these days of reform, and on the unfair remuneration of senior clerics - their old schoolfriend Hobart (The Hon. Henry Lewis?) as Dean of Windsor received

JB has been corresponding with the Marquis of Anglesey (Henry Paget, 1st Marquis, OW). HMC presumes on the question of his son's advancement in the army. So that JB does not appear to be soliciting, HMC suggests that he passes on, 'from a friend', a treatment for tic douloureux. Further remarks on Sir George Murray (see 5) and his brother John, who were day scholars; their mother lived at the west end of the street where Langton's boarding house was (Little Smith Street), and behind the new buildings where Mother Ottey's and Doctor Hume's boarding houses were (on Dean's Yard, where Church House is now) - presumably where the Church House bookshop now is. Has heard lately of old friend Dowdeswell (Edward Christopher) - as indolent as ever, since though a canon at Christ Church has never slept one night in the college, despite a requirement that canons reside one month annually. Asks after JB's potatoes. since HMC cultivated them on a grand scale during his long residence in France for a private individual. More on the Corn Laws.

Cross-written. JB is looking for a curate - John Ollivier, booksellers of Pall Mall, keep a register of clergymen in want of a position. Thinks of 'fumum et opes strepitumque Romae (Hor.C.3.29.12 - first read before he was 12) whenever he enters London. Ill discipline at the military academy in Woolwich, where 8 or 9 have been expelled - as with those expelled from university, they will never be able to hold a government post. A few tears ago the Duke of Wellington prevented his son from being expelled by Christ Church - he had got drunk on champagne, piled all his furniture in the middle of the quad and set fire to it.

Doubts whether his grandson (up at Balliol) would be able to perform the duties of curate (see 15), since he is not yet quite in holy orders. A Westminster boy was with him yesterday; numbers, at present 90, will rise by 30 after Christmas, the old KS dormitory is now used only for sleeping, rooms have been constructed on the ground floor for use during the day, and School is being heated by hot water pipes. More time is being devoted to study, whole play days have been abolished, and Lily's Latin Grammar now being used. All these changes have been brought about by Dr Buckland, the Dean.
