R.A.M.C. Aug. 13, 1915; served in France and was wounded at Loos in 1916; assumed the surname of Thoresby in lieu of Thorseby-Jones 1920; m. July 31, 1927, Barbara, daughter of Henry Fielding, of Canterbury, Kent; d. 1942.
