July 30, 1904; resigned Oct. 19, 1906; re-employed during Great War I and promoted Cdr. 1918; retired 1919; re-employed in Great War II as Lieut.-Cdr.; Cdr. May 8, 1946; D.S.C.; succeeded his brother as 3rd Baronet July 21, 1930; m. 1st Dec. 30, 1907, Alice Sophia, daughter of William Cobbett; 2nd Sept. 14, 1944, Helena Glorney, daughter of Isaac Guggenheim, of New York; d. 1973.
