WARREN, PELHAM, brother of Richard Warren (adm. 1773, qv); b. 7 Oct 1778; in school list 1795; Trinity Coll. Cambridge, adm. pens. 25 May 1795, matr. 1796; Browne’s medallist for Latin Ode 1798; MB 1800 : MD 1805; Physician to St. George’s Hospital 1803-16; had one of the largest medical practices in London; FRCP 30 Sep 1806, Censor 1810, Harveian Orator 1826, Elect 11 Aug 1829; gazetted Physician Extraordinary to William IV 24 Jul 1830, but declined the position; FRS 8 Apr 1813; m. 3 May 1814 Penelope, eldest dau. of William Davies Shipley (qv); d. 2 Dec 1835. DNB.
