Inner Temple, called to bar 10 Feb 1815; conveyancer; lecturer on law of real property to Incorporated Law Society 1833-43; one of the four Tellers of the Receipt of Exchequer Aug – Oct 1834; JP Middlesex, Hertfordshire; m. 1st, 1819 Maria Matilda, youngest dau. of John Rowland; m. 2nd, 1829 Margaret, youngest dau. of Peter Finch Martineau, St. Albans, Herts. , banker; d. 4 Jun 1862, aged 72.
