Inner Temple 12 Feb 1735/6; went to Lausanne, Switzerland, to complete his studies, and while there became a member of the Compagnie des Nobles Fusillers, 29 Apr 1738; Ensign, 2nd Foot Guards 24 Apr 1741; went with regiment to Flanders 1744; d. 13 May 1745, from wounds received at the battle of Fontenoy two days previously.
