(Extra Reserve) Connaught Rangers May 26, 1915; went out to the western front in Dec. 1915, and was attached to the Royal Irish Rifles; assumed the surname of Stone in lieu of Schmidt May 5, 1915; killed in action at Mont St. Eloi April 26, 1916.
