May 3, 1916; invalided; Trinity Hall, Camb., B.A. 1932; M.A. 1947; an artist; Gold Medallist, Paris Salon; served in the Navy in both Great Wars; painted the portrait of Walter Hamilton, Head Master, 1957; m. 1955, Zoe Violetta Lane, of New Zealand; d. 1968.
Commissioned by John Carleton, then Master of the Queen's Scholars.
