Archival history

Presented to the School in 1963 by Mrs Fitzgerald after the death of her husband Canon M.H. Fitzgerald. The National Portrait Gallery has a version of this bust, also of 1845. The memorial to Southey in Gosthwaite Church (1846) is also by Lough.
