Scope and content
Letter from Austin Marsden Farrer (1904-1968), philosopher, theologian and biblical scholar, chaplain of Trinity College Oxford. Seeks advice on the question of an endowment in favour of a clerical fellow of Trinity College on condition that he provides a sermon at Abingdon every Sunday, with a reversion to the heirs of the grantor; there is now only one fellow in orders and the value of the bequest is trifling; he currently carries out the duty himself.
