PE apparently in or en route to Rome. Asks him to get someone to collate any mss. of Aeshylus he comes across (and will pay). Also to buy a Eustathius if he finds one. Also anything recent by Boissonade.

Unhappy that PE does not contribute to the Museum Criticum but rather to the Classical Journal (despite criticising the latter). B's brother has given the Museum Criticum to Wolf in Berlin, and brought back a number of Greek publications.

Breaking of relations with Edinburgh Review (who have published an article he tried to recall), on religious grounds. Review of PE's Heraclidae to appear in the Quarterly (Review?).
