LLOYD, EDWARD PRYCE, 1ST BARON MOSTYN, eldest son of Bell Lloyd (adm. 1744, qv); b. 17 Sep 1768; adm. 11 Sep 1777; left 1785; succ. uncle as 2nd baronet 26 May 1795; High Sheriff, Flintshire 1796, Caernarvonshire 1797 and Merioneth 1804; MP Flint Boroughs 1806-7, Beaumaris 10 Dec 1807-12, Flint Boroughs 1812 – 10 Sep 1831; succeeded to the estates of his brother-in-law Sir Thomas Mostyn, Bart. (qv), in Apr 1831; created Baron Mostyn 10 Sep 1831; a loyal supporter of the Whig party in both Houses of Parliament; m. 11 Feb 1794 Elizabeth, third dau. of Sir Roger Mostyn, Bart. (qv); d. 3 Apr 1854.
